New stamp release

Last weekend saw the release of four absolutely beautiful Lavinia stamps. You can find them Here

I love them all and have lots of ideas but at the moment very little time to get in the Craft room. Here I’ve used Sebastian the seahorse. Isn’t he just gorgeous?! I’ve stamped the Indian flourish around the edges. This is like a peacock feather but is so versatile and can be used as a background or filler as well as a feature stamp.

The background was done by blending the ink from a green and a blue sparkle pen. Starting with blue in the centre and working the green round the edges. Using some glycerin on the blending tool helps to obtain a nice smooth blend. I then picked up undiluted ink on a brush and splattered over the background. It’s a shame the photo doesn’t pick up the lovely sparkle.

Thank you for visiting. See you soon xxx
