June Lavinia Challenge

The new challenge over on Lavinia Stamps starts today and this month the topic is ‘Sunset Pinks’.

Here are two of my DT samples. The first sample is a 6x6 card. The background is blended Distress oxides, Picked raspberry, Worn lipstick and Wilted violet. I’ve used the beautiful Daydreaming fairy and Wild poppies. Along with Creeping vine and the small Dragon

The second is a DL card. Again using Distress Oxides in the same colours with the addition of Seedless preserves. This time it’s a ‘smooshed’ background. Love doing this as it gives a lovely random result, different every time. I’ve used the newly released Indian flourish embossed in gold, then outlined with a black fine liner to bring out the detail. The See a fairy, make a wish script was stamped in the background using Archival ink in a tonal colour. Then the new Feather was stamped along the bottom to give the impression of a forest.
