New Year, New Job!

Oh Dear!!!! I promise to blog regularly and here we are half way into January and no post since middle of December! I have lots of exciting news so hold fast, here we go: To cut a long story short I have a new job. I started working at Birds in the Barn last week and am loving every minute. I am also working 2 days a week at Clacton Art Craft and Model Centre and thoroughly enjoy it there too. I consider myself so very lucky. So if any of you are in the area please pop in and say HELLO. If you go to Birds in the Barn website you will find the workshop list for January and February, March to follow shortly. Karen ran her first Tool Shed last Friday. Always popular as it will give you lots of interesting ways to use your Big Shot. She is a very talented lady with her machine! And she makes lovely cakes!!! I think her daughter is following in her footsteps because Bobby and I really enjoyed our chocolate Malteser cakes. THANK YOU Claire. My first workshop was last Tuesday and we created a beautiful Msterboard using some lovely delicate colours from the Distress Ink range. We then cut up the masterboard and created 3 cards and with a bit of luck there should have been a little left over for yet another. ,
Here is a sneek peek of something you may be doing if you book onto my next workshop: Not So Distressing, Wednesday 23rd January. We will be using my all time favourite Distress Inks to create a range of different effects. Just ring the shop Here if you would like to come along for a morning of fun and crafting.
Even more exciting things to come so why not pop along and book yourself on to join us. You will be greeted with a smile and there is always someone there to help you with anything.
Janet is running a 'Basic Stamping' class on Saturday which is almost full but you could ring the shop to see if there are spaces left. I've seen the cards you will be making and they look lovely! Then her 'Resist the Bleach' should be great fun and that is proving very popular so you better be quick if you fancy booking on, Thursday 24th January. I will shortly be posting info about Clactons workshops and demos which are due to start shortly. I know its a bit late but I wish everyone a very Happy 2013. Hope to see some of you in the near future. Lynne XXX
