Silly idea!!!

My Christmas tree is still in its box along with all the decorations!!!! I am determined to get them up in some form or another tomorrow - Well that's as long as something else doesn't happen to come along and change all my plans! I thought I would share with you my latest mammouth task!!! Bobby has soooo...... many people to give Christmas gifts to that it is just not possible to get decent presents for everyone. I would love to but I really can't afford it. Anyhow we came up with this idea a couple of years ago and it has now become tradition! We buy big tins of Quality Street and make boxes/bags for each person and pop some sweets in each. Everyone seems to appreciate it so we continue to do it. I mention WE but of course the most important job is Bobby's. He fills them with the chocolates!!! Last year I made baskets for the ladies and boxes for the men. Taken the easier route this year and made the same for everyone. Bobby delivered 5 today, here is a piccie of another seven and I only have another TEN (at least) to make!!! Bobby keeps thinking of more people he wants to say thanks to! Think we need to buy at least another three tins of sweeties. Trouble is.....I keep eating the toffee ones!

I really love this paper. Its actually wrapping paper which I found in Denny Bros. I have now decided I hate making the Tattered Pinecones! Not really. I love them but not when I have so many to make. My fingers have got more glue on them than the boxes. Off to bed now to dream about boxes of Quality Street and hopefully tomorrow I can post a picture of our tree! TTFN Lynne X

20 Days 1 hour and 22 minutes till Christmas!!!

HELP! Well at least I feel a little Christmassy now. We had a lovely Craft Club last night. A few Christmassy nibbles-----Thanks so much to Natalie for the lovely cakes. Such a surprise and they were delicious. Also a nice glass of pink or white bubbly!!! Unfortunately we all had to drive home so it had to be the non alcoholic stuff! Then we had a raffle with a difference. Everything was wrapped up so it was like a lucky dip. We did do a bit of crafting! Made a little candle holder to hold an LED tealight. NOT SIUTABLE FOR A REAL CANDLE!!! I just love Tims Tattered Pinecone die.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for the lovely cards - all hand made of course, and for the pressies for myself Mum and Bobby. I hope you all had a good evening and look forward to seeing you January 7th 2013. Short and sweet tonight cause I am exhausted so off to the land of nod now! TTFN LYNNE xxx
