Bobby's 21st Birthday

21 Years ago we were blessed with our third son, Bobby. He was a tiny little thing and just as beautiful as Tony and Peter. I can't believe how time has flown, and here we are celebrating his 21st Birthday! We had a little party at home last Saturday and we had friends to dinner on Sunday. He had a lovely time.
Bobby loves bowling, hence the card. I made a type of diorama card to get the three dimensional effect. Can't see it very well in the photo. Sorry, my camera skills are a bit poor!
Just been playing with Sam's new stamp plate: Timeless Journey. I love the images and they really suit the techniques I love to use. I have created a background with Frayed Burlap, Old Paper and Weathered Wood Distress inks. Blended well then spritzed with Enchanted Gold Mica. I have then used a die cut shape as a mask and stippled Distress inks to give a subtle background, then brushed with more mica! I do like a bit of sparkle! The car is stamped with Cobalt Archival ink. The other background is created using some of the many images on the set, stamped with the three Distress pads used previously, spritzed with water to soften and distressed round the edges.

Hope you like them.

Take Care
