Hi Everyone. Don't forget to stop by the Particraft stand if you are going to The Big Stamp and Scrapbook Show this Saturday and Sunday (27th-28th September). I love the new Scenevelope plates. Made this new baby card using just a few of the many stamps included. It is such good value for money. The 30th birthday card was made using the basket of flowers stamp from the Nature plate stamp set. Visit the Particraft site for details.

Childrens craft party

I so enjoyed it! Had some very positive feedback from the parents. Apparantly some were very impressed with what their children were able to produce and may be interested for their own childrens party. I'm so pleased.
The party was for Sophie's 11th Birthday. She had invited 8 friends and had chosen to make a 'Friends' Scrapbook. It took a lot of preparation which I thoroughly enjoyed. I made a personalised Party bag for each girl and each contained the basic scrapbook for decoration, along with lots of embellishments. Pens, glue, glitters, scissors etc were all on the tables to share. All except one, had brought photographs along with them and they were all keen to get started. I had prepared some little extra projects in case they finished quickly, but it took most girls the whole 3 hours with a break for lunch.
Sophie and Abigail (her sister) are lovely girls, and all Sophie's friends were very well behaved. I gave Sophie a small gift for her Birthday and a handmade card.
I will be downloading some photo's to my Blog in the next couple of days.
I would love to do more parties like this. If there is anyone reading this who thinks their child may enjoy a party with a difference, then please contact me for details.

I will be on the Particraft stand at The Big Stamp and Scrapbook Show at Ally Pally on Saturday 27th September. I, along with some other Demonstrators will be there to have a chat, and some of us will be at the Make and Take area throughout the day. Please come along and say Hello! Don't hesitate to ask about hosting a party or even about becoming a Demonstrator yourself. It's great fun and I can certainly recommend it.

I am in the process of organising some workshops and would like to hear from anyone who would be interested in attending.

So much catching up to do!!!

My Party went well last Wednesday and I'm now preparing for my childrens birthday party this Saturday. I have posted on the Particraft forum about my exciting purchase of two ( now got four!!!) Magnetic boards for displaying my card samples. They are brilliant and save so much space. Its nice to be able to label them with the materials used etc. Also did a Make and Take party where we made a scrapbook page for displaying in a box frame. Everyone was pleased with their results and I gave a frame away to the most original. Started making some Christmas samples. Just love the Robin stamp set. Made lots for a local hospice using these and they are really effective. Off to finish preparing for Saturday now so will keep you posted and let you know how it goes. X
