Make and Take

Really enjoyed it. Everyone went home happy with their mini scrapbook and hopefully got some more party bookings.

First Party

Really enjoyed it!.Everyone had a good time and most of them are coming to the Make and Take tomorrow. Just finished making up the packs for it. The Micre powders were a sucsess also the medallions and heat bondable fibres. I gave the hostess a Treasure box filled with chocolates and the prize for the Ice breaker was the same only a smaller version. Will post some photos soon. Lynne.

Mica pigments

Been playing with Cosmic Shimmer Mica pigments. What lovely effects you can create. The background on the Dragonfly card was made by stamping the flower from the Birthday stamp set with Perfect Medium clear ink pad. The Mica powders were then brushed over the image. The dragonfly has been heat embossed on acetate then glittered from behind. This stamp is also wonderful used with the Heat bondable film.

Also finished the mini scrapbook for Thursdays Make and Take party. Getting a bit nervous now!

Medallions

I love working with medallions. They are so versatile and can be used for any occasion. In these examples I have embossed in gold and glittered, but there are so many ways to decorate them. Cosmic simmer watercolours,crystal laquers, stamped on acetate and glittered. The list is endless!!.

More samples for next weeks parties. We're making a mini scrapbook at the make and take on Thursday.

We went to Trooping the Colour Saturday. It was a wonderful day and we managed to take some great pictures. Good scrapbooking material!!!

Order

Another order complete!

The cat has been stamped and water coloured with Walnut stain Distress ink. The flowers painted with Cosmic Shimmer watercolours and glittered with stay clear glue and Aurora glitter. Then distressed using Cut & Dry foam.

The image was stamped 3 times then decoupaged to give a 3D effect. Details of products used can be found on the Particraft websitehttp://www.particraft.co.uk

Alcohol inks

Never used the Alcohol inks before but just love them. What wonderful effects you can achieve. Just a word of advice though---Wear gloves, because I've still got blue fingers from 2days ago!!

Update

Lynsay came round yesterday and we had a great time chatting and swapping ideas. It's lovely to meet someone who is as mad about crafting as I am!!! I can see us becoming good friends!

I have 2 parties booked this month so will let everyone know how they go. Really looking forward to them.
